Professor Bernd Vogel is a Professor in Leadership and Founding Director of the Henley Centre for Leadership, Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK.

Bernd draws on remarkable expertise built on research and practice and is a highly sought-after advisor supporting organizations and individuals on their journey with their businesses and leadership challenges. With his blend of experience and expertise as a leadership advisor, educator, and speaker, he serves as Senior Advisor to Paresa Collection and facilitates its highly bespoke think tank retreats at multiple destinations.

His expertise focuses on strategic leadership to mobilize and maintain healthy energy and performance in organizations, future of work and leadership, positive leadership, organizational energy, organization-wide leadership capability, senior management teams, multi-directional leadership for transformation, change and culture or leadership development.

He has worked for more than 20 years with global companies, business schools and world-renowned universities and is a qualified executive coach.

Before joining Henley, Bernd held positions at Leibniz University of Hanover, Germany, and the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. He is a Visiting professor at the University of Johannesburg and also held visiting assignments at Claremont Graduate University, USA, IESE Business School, Spain, or Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California, USA.

Bernd has authored and edited several books, for example, "Fully Charged: How Great Leaders Boost Their Organization's Energy and Ignite High Performance", Harvard Business Review Press, and frequently publishes in top-tier academic journals.

Born in Germany, Bernd lives in England with his family.
